Darwin Park forms the centrepiece of a large-scale development on the outskirts of Lichfield. Urban Designs were instructed to design this phase of the development including apartment blocks and elevational treatments for dwellings to follow a design code already laid out by the Local Authority. Dwellings were designed to allow vehicular access from the rear, whilst maintaining principle elevations onto the pedestrian accessed frontage. The centrepiece of the scheme was occupied by a bespoke four storey apartment block and three storey town houses, all designed with parapet walls and box gutters forming a focal point at the heart of the scheme. The finished phase integrates seamlessly into the overall development.
