Developer – Barn Conversions – Groby, Leicestershire
This former dairy farm, located in the Leicestershire countryside, had been vacant for several years.
The site included a variety of brick-built and steel-framed barns, including two large Dutch barns.
Concept designs were developed for the conversion of the existing buildings into 14 dwellings, with an additional portal-framed barn proposed for office and commercial use. Urban Designs were instructed to prepare and submit a planning application, with visualisations also produced to support the planning process.
