Developer – New Build Houses – Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Drawing inspiration from the Arts and Crafts houses in the area, the design incorporated traditional local materials alongside the distinctive style of the Arts and Crafts movement, enhanced with a modern twist.

The front elevations of the dwellings reflect traditional frontages, while the rear elevations feature full-height atrium windows, creating impressive double-height dining areas. These floor-to-ceiling atrium windows proved particularly appealing to prospective buyers, allowing natural light to flood the homes. Several of the designs also incorporated balconies off the master bedrooms to maximise the countryside views at the rear of the properties. The internal spaces were designed with an open-plan layout, allowing for flexibility in the future should purchasers prefer a more cellular arrangement. All properties were sold off-plan prior to completion.
