Commercial – Remodelling – Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire
The building, previously used as a solicitor’s office, is located adjacent to a listed building. Urban Designs were tasked with redesigning both the shopfront and the interior, to include the conversion of first-floor offices into residential accommodation.
An Edwardian-inspired frontage was chosen, reflecting the character of the surrounding area. Glazed bricks were incorporated below the cill level, as timber boarding below the cill is prone to damage.
Our brief also included converting the first-floor offices into residential accommodation.
